Success Stories - Business Architecture
The Client Situation
A leading UK retailer with multiple trading divisions instigated a programme to create an automated loyalty solution. The programme goal was to deliver the technology and operations platform to provide targeted marketing campaigns and encourage cross trading between the businesses. The need was for a Business Architect who could develop and track the business benefit in a cross functional, cross divisional team.
What Armadillo did
The challenge was to identify somebody who was equally comfortable tackling change issues in IT, HR, Trading and Contact Centres. We sourced an experienced plc Operations Director with a track record in leading multi-million pound investment programmes.
The Consultant was able to ensure that business and commercial checks and balances were exercised from a very early stage in the programme and this approach was built into the programme architecture and alongside the more tactical programme management planning and delivery disciplines.
This early focus provided the common purpose and direction that would have been otherwise hard to achieve in a programme with an unusually high number of stakeholders.
The Result
The programme, which ran for 12 months, met all the anticipated metrics and delivered the majority of benefits ahead of schedule.
